After months of secrecy, Mike Ryan (IRE, head of WHO Emergencies), has belatedly revealed the names of the 10-person Covid 'investigation' team, nearly two months after they began work (Oct 30) via "regular Zoom calls". The fact the names have been dumped in the media dead-zone just days before Christmas is also notable)

Candidates were chosen from the closed-field of Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN) members in consultation with the CCP. (GOARN is a WHO body, founded and cultivated by Ryan). All scientists outside this network were excluded.

This process was criticized by other scientists for lacking transparency.

The group will travel to China in January to continue 'Phase-2' of the investigation. 'Phase-1' has already been conducted by Chinese scientists. 'Phase-2' is simply reviewing/signing off on the information they present.

Mike Ryan hopes "the international community can be reassured of the quality of the science."

The Ten:

Peter Daszak (UK/US - regular WIV collaborator - staunch defender of the institute)

Farag El Moubasher (Qatar)

John Watson (UK)

Hung Nguyen (Viet/Kenya)

Fabian Leendertz (Ger)

Dominic Dwyer (Aus - worked with WHO in Beijing during Sars-1)

Ken Maeda (Japan)

Vladimir Dedkov (Russia)

Marion Koopmans (Dutch)

Thea Kølsen Fischer (Denmark)
