Drones in US NE (General)
According to a recent podcasts featuring Steven Greer, the drones are ours, the product of a secret, illegal, and decades long black op, and the reason for them is to wage a fake alien invasion as a way to scare the public into accepting authoritarianism.
That all sounds over the top, but after covid, it makes some sense.
That's the thing about Covid that the cover-upers, in their arrogance, didn't calculate. Nobody is ever gonna believe you again. Well not nobody, but less & less.
It's recorded proof that those who wield big-power are prepared to do absolutely anything to protect/increase their power. Nothing is sacred. Not truth, not life, honour, nothing. It's all a Plato's Cave projection to maintain established order. That's the only guiding principle.
As i tried (but failed) to explain to a top-ranked scientist i know: if you're goal is to fan the flames of the very thing you fear the most, you're going about it in exactly the right way
Re the black-op, although i think drones & aliens are the same thing, a less grandiose explanation might be to create more military regulation for drone operations.
With all the money spent on nuclear bombs, drones (relatively cheap (as is biowarfare)) are clearly a huge part of modern conflict. Especially when there's an out-gunned adversary involved, including a domestic one. Drones are something that can be weaponized by non-state actors without a state-sized budget. They would give you the willies if you were a DoD higher-up.
If it was me, in the black-op team's shoes, (& i had no moral compunction, Covid-style), i'd stage a drone terrorist attack. It's worked before - don't need to reinvent the wheel. Then you'd have carte blanche to regulate/monopolize drones - bring it all under your control - stay ahead of the game. To keep people safe.
Coincidentally, below is a photo sent to me by a different Dan, that sums the above up:
