Exploding Pagers (General)

Even then, it sounds imminently feasible that a plane could be hacked directly. Our thread on Boeing is also a good place to observe signs of such activity emerging. There does seem to be a lot of system-error mishaps recently - they appear to be cases of man (inevitably) losing control of the AI machines they've built - but a deliberate intervention is definitely not off the cards.

Quick response with more to follow. There are incident tracking sites out there, and one I've been looking at it https://asn.flightsafety.org. I found a couple recent Boeing incidents that weren't widely reported (if at all).

The most surprising of which is this one.

United Airlines flight UA2428, a Boeing 757-224, responded to a TCAS RA and two passenges were injured.

TCAS RA = Traffic collision avoidance system

Now there's something a bad person might really want to fuck with.
