This all raises the question of the broader application of AI and the fact that it's going to only be increasing in all phases of life. But just focusing on transportation for a moment, let's brainstorm where AI will be used if not already:

- testing of raw materials
- the entire manufacturing process, including the manufacturing of the robot that will manufacture the vehicle (i.e., plane, car)
- testing of vehicle operation and safety
- training of AI piloting

And that's just for starters. So as humans are less hands on, we'll be handing over the entire manufacturing and operation of our vehicles to AI. They'll have to keep some people involved just to have someone to blame!

Here's an insightful video about Tesla safety. This is one time I'm rooting for Chinese industry. I hope they knock him out of the car business just because he's such an arrogant prick.
