New Covid Origin Narrative from the Experts (General)

I noticed Lipkin quietly back-flipped in May 2021 when he admitted the virus could have escaped from a lower security BSL-2 lab, the Wuhan Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.

He told the journalist Donald McNeil in May 2021 that he was alarmed when he learned that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was conducting research on similar viruses at a lower level of protection.

Lipkin: People should not be looking at bat viruses in BSL-2 lab. My view has changed.

(Note: Don't bother clicking on the link unless you want to be infuriated - slimy lab-leak denying journalists, Donald McNeil from NYT trying to slither his way out.)

Rachael Bunyan now reports that Peter Embarek, head of the sham WHO investigation, is doing the same, in greater detail.

Embarek: An employee who was infected in the field by taking samples falls under one of the probable hypotheses. This is where the virus jumps directly from a bat to a human. In that case, it would then be a laboratory worker instead of a random villager or other person who has regular contact with bats. So it is actually in the probable category.

It is interesting that the laboratory moved on 2 December 2019. This is the period when it all started, and you know what, when you move a laboratory, it is disruptive to everything.

You also have to move the virus collection, sample collection and other collections from one place to another.

This whole procedure is always a disruptive element in a laboratory's daily workflow, so at some point it will also be interesting to look at that period and this laboratory.

Lipkin is a known kite-flier - he was the celebrity scientist vehemently promoting the CCP's version from the beginning, then kite-flew the entire WHO investigation report months before it happened, including the 'outside China' story.

So it's interesting that he changed his tune to a possible BSL-2 related origin - and the others, such as Embarek, are following. Here's what might be coming as the new official experts' story:

A low-level lab worker from the BSL-2 lab was collecting/handling samples and failed to follow proper safety regulations and became infected.

Yes, they might just be back-flipping by degrees to cover their arses - plenty of that going on - but it could be the new narrative.

The advantages are:

  • it saves WIV from ultimate blame
  • exonerates collaborating western scientists
  • side-steps the 'engineered-in-a-lab' scenario
  • pins it on some nameless low-level lab worker
  • you can still argue, if it was collecting bat samples from a cave, that it was a natural crossover that would have inevitably happened anyway

No doubt the caveat will be 'it will take years of painstaking research - and we may never know the real answer' ...
