September2026Weather diary page Sep 11, Northern Rivers: SOLD! Very happy at the prospect of getting out of this place - it's too wet. Already enjoying doing things for the last time. Our minds are like creeper vines that grow onto whatever lattice is put in front of it - there are always so many dramas or maintenance things to do here that consume your attention leaving little time for anything else - can't wait to get back to a more controlled environment. Saw first scarlet honey-eater today, as well as first wallaby with new season baby. Having rained all through winter, it as even continued on into Sep, which is usually the only reliably dry month here i've experienced. Whatever, that will all be someone else's problem soon. Sep 12, Guam: Congratulations! That's great news. What's the game plan now? Back to Taiwan? I'm even finding this tiny yard of ours a bit much at times, mainly because it needs constant attention at this latitude. We're in a standard rainy season pattern now, and hopefully that will last. We've had enough storms for one year. |
