October2026Weather diary page Oct 03, Guam: Typhoon Choi-Wan is making a fly by north of us. We have gusts of 40kt+ with lots of wind and rain, but that's it. This is something like the fifth typhoon this year to impact us, two of them hitting us directly. That's probably 15 years worth of storms on average for Guam! Oct 25: Typhoon Champi passed a few days ago. Another one coming. Today is a beautiful 'tropical island' day with a high of 30, steady breeze, partly cloudy, and passing showers complete with rainbows. The Champi-fueled mosquitoes will eat you alive but hey, we'll take what we can get! |
