Late Show heading our Way? (Weather)

They are flying around thick and fast in a frantic end to the season and it looks like one might be heading our way late next week. This is the forecast chart for next weekend. Anything south of us should at least bring rain which would be welcome.

This sat shows the cloud mass building at the site of the low in the bottom right of the pic (not the typhoon already formed and heading to japan). Looks like there is quite a lot to work with - is this out 'big one'?

Yeah that one may have a chance. It has been an interesting October so far. Very hot and humid some days... though the end of Sep was pretty cool. The 2013 season is indeed going out like a lion regardless of whether any of the action comes our way.

The CWB charts has it heading our way a week from now. In the meantime, we're getting intermittent showers and it seemed very hot and humid today for October.

This is looking more and more like it's going to come alive.

JTWC has it staying well south of us, but should still get some rain out of it.

This should be in the 'CWB Goofs' thread, but CWB has us down as 10% POP while a typhoon is passing to our south and sending showers up through its outflow. I can't think why they would do that.
