Taiwan ferret badger (Animals)

I'm pretty sure my dog was just chasing a Taiwan ferret badger. I saw distinct white markings, and it was the right size. It's dusk, but the white really stood out. It made a high-pitched, shrill cry. Any idea what a ferret badger sounds like when it's stressed?

Of course, the ferret badgers are the main carriers of rabies. The dog clearly tangled with it. He doesn't seem to be licking anything... other than his crotch. Kind of scary. (The ferret badger that is.)

EDIT: It occurred to me later that I'm not sure who was chasing whom. I just assumed the dog was chasing the badger. A rabid badger would chase a dog. In fact when I saw the badger, it was running up the road, and my dog was not chasing it, he was waiting to be let in the gate! (He had escaped.) Once he got in, he was shaken and wanted inside. He didn't want anything to do with that badger.

They are nocturnal animals, so if it was day time then apparently that's a sure sign it's got rabies. Be afraid.
