I saw that. There is a rather large front crossing the island tonight and tomorrow so hopefully we will get some rain out of it.

Meanwhile, it seems like we are in for a hot blast today with one of those south westerly winds - though that is meant to swing around to the north with the appraoch of the front - should be a fairly dramatic change of scene.

Did you see that lightning last night? It was continously pulsating for over two hours. Would have been amazing to have been in the middle of it. It looked like it was around Chang Bing but a check of the radar (and a few phone calls to people up north) tracked it down to just east of Dong Ao - that's quite far away considering how visible it was - i could even faintly hear the sound of thunder.
