I've mentioned before about my dear old Mum - she was by no means a political radical but she would rail against the IOC being a corrupt gravy train - that was 30-40 years ago.

If you're looking for a template for how world bodies like WHO or the UN went bad, then the IOC is it.

Highly-paid, privileged elites traveling the world - being wined and dined by government elites - doing mega-deals on TV rights.
