US Health System (General)
Taking a look at Scripps currently - this story came up - it's an interesting article - outlines institutionalized rorting. I know Dan has said before the US health system is a mess - this helps explain one aspect at least.
I'll go even farther. The dysfunctional state of the US health care system is the single biggest drag on every social metric, be it education, economy, international competitiveness, infant mortality, life span, everything.
It will be the downfall of the US unless we can fix it. The downfall will be blamed on something else, of course. But what is more important than basic health care?
