Class Warfare (General)

There are a lot of potential wars in the offing at the moment including the China-Taiwan-US War and the Data War - but this one, Class War, is right up there in terms of societal impact - and for many people, a lot closer to home.

Like the other wars, although it didn't begin with Covid, it's certainly given it a boost.

Below is an interesting article titled 'The tyranny of merit' that examines how an entrenched 'meritocracy' constantly reinforces itself and demonizes those that would challenge it.

This is very similar to my observation that 'the experts' have built up fiefdoms for themselves from where they proclaim rules for everyone else that have nothing to do with the truth but everything to do with preserving their own power base and status quo.

I don't know how it will pan out - the elites might get away with it - as they have done throughout history - but an eruption of a class war is also looking like a feasible outcome.
