First fire in southern states for the season - and it's a 'fuel reduction burn' gone wrong.

"A bushfire emergency warning has been issued for the seaside town of St Helens on Tasmania's east coast.

A fuel reduction burn on the town's outskirts has broken containment lines in several spots, forcing Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) to issue the warning."
