Looking at the radar today, the direction of the monsoon seems to have reversed. I am sure it is too early in the season for that to be happening - guess it's just an anomaly. Wonder if we will get some rain out of it - would be nice if we did - it's nice even to say that considering that's a sentence that wouldn't get uttered in the north east too much.

We're getting some very brisk southerly winds at the moment. That seems odd for winter.

definitely something weird going on - i can remember a light southerly in winter but nothing this strong
