Fracking banned in UK (General)

One of the reasons for the ban was that "fracking triggered multiple earth tremors that breached the government’s earthquake limits."

According to the article:

"Fracking, also known as hydraulic fracturing, involves pumping water, chemicals and sand underground at high pressure to fracture shale rock and release trapped oil and gas."

Definitely wouldn't want to be fucking around with that in any rim of fire countries

That would seem to be common sense, which just goes to show how fucked up the Trump administration is with regards to the environment:

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION SLATED TO OPEN OVER 1 MILLION ACRES OF CALIFORNIA LAND FOR FRACKING AND DRILLING DESPITE OUTCRY

In California.

That's disturbing. Sociologically speaking, it's interesting how a certain section of the population seems hellbent on angrily driving the planet of the metaphorical cliff.

There has probably always been a 'war of ideas' going on but the stakes are even higher now.
