Twin Philippines quakes (General)

A 6.6 earthquake in Mindanao yesterday (with a 5.8 aftershock) was a follow-on from a 6.4 less than two weeks ago.

I'm starting to think that sequential earthquakes are more the norm than one-off ones.

Twin Philippines quakes

Clearly the scientific community has no way of predicting earthquakes. To their credit, they admit that. Outside of our understanding of the very basics of plate tectonics, we really don't know what the fuck is going to happen.

If anybody could predict earthquakes or typhoons accurately, they could make billions of dollars gaming the insurance business. They have no idea what is going to happen.
