Looks like it won't be 'a very good year' with large fires burning across the wine country of California
Frighteningly, winds with gusts up to 80mph (!) are forecast for about now (Sat night California time). That's fire storm stuff.

Seems like they didn't muck around with the evacuations this time, which is good.
According to media reports, winds "topped 100mph in some places". If that's true, then it's like hell on earth. 100mph! That's like a typhoon on fire.
