Supposedly the eye is going to graze the north-east tip of Taiwan with places such as Yilan, Keelung, Wulai, Wanli and Taoyuan most likely to receive torrential rain.
No alarming falls so far but it's still a ways off it's closest point to Taiwan while a slight move to the east from the forecast path could spell serious trouble. A slight move to the north and it may be nothing much at all for Taiwan

Looking at the radar, it appears Shanghai might get the worst of it - already feeding in there and the main body still to come

Unless there's a radical path change, it looks like Taiwan will be spared any major impact. That makes two 'lucky' days off for the workers of Taipei this year - though the bosses will be less pleased
