6.1 Earthquake in Hualien April 18 (General)
This is a bit late but there has been a stream of Easter guests.
According to the news, 17 people were injured but thankfully no fatalities.
Friends texted from Taipei to say buildings were swaying and stuff coming off shelves.
So far there hasn't been any commensurate follow-up quake - just the normal diminishing aftershocks and not a lot of those.
The quakes of Jan 2018 included 3 x 6+M over a few days plus dozens of 4M's - so this one hasn't followed that 'earthquake swarm' pattern so far - hopefully stays that way.
