ID recognition technology

Interesting. Just yesterday, for the first time, I had a bank robot as me to create a voice ID by repeating a phrase a few times. I was in a hurry to talk to someone so I went ahead and did it. Governments already have a lot of bio IDs on us. Facial recognition from all the pictures we give them. Fingerprints from going through immigration.

The next big thing is going to be implants. I think it will be a generational shift. So, whereas people over, what, 35 or so might balk at a chip in their hand, it's a small leap to see a younger generation going for it. All they (the powers that be) would have to do is tie it in somehow to gaming or social networks.

One of the links in that article is this site: https://skymind.ai. Interesting stuff. They have a good AI wiki at https://skymind.ai/wiki/ and their case studies pages say a lot.

It's a Brave New World!
