This must have been for new arrivals - not too big - but enough to get your attention if you're in the zone

Assume the number stands for the amount over a certain size (4.5?) for the year

Part of a sequence of three in Chiayi - which is not a place where you want to much activity

And there's been another in the same area making four.

Over the last couple of days, we've had nearly 400 mils of rain in Kaohsiung.

Taitung earthquake swarm, and they're shallow. Given what's been going on in Taitung and Chiayi, it's not unreasonable to assume there's a heightened chance of a major earthquake in the coming days or weeks. (I'm using a tiny travel computer. Pain in the rear.)

Doubt there's been 400 mil here in the last year - not many places do 'torrential' like Taiwan

The amount of huge falls that hit the mountains of Pingdong - it's remarkable that there are any mountains left there

Mini-earthquake swarm in Taidong going on this evening - seems a continuation of the recent spurt in activity

Three earthquakes around Chi Shang - which was tipped as the next trigger point after the big quakes in Hualien during Feb
