The good news is, that i didn't need to do much prep for this typhoon - just checked on the stuff i'd done a few days ago for the last typhoon.

We should be ok in Taidong - probably get some big gusts as it goes past this evening and tonight but not the insane sustained stuff. Doubt there will be too much rain, though it's gotten pretty dark all of a sudden and there are a few big blobs on the outskirts of the typhoon, so we may get hit by one of them. Looks to be a lot of rain in the tail so interesting to see where that ends up - Ping Dong probably!

But that's relying on the tracks. It's one of those ones that appears to be coming straight at us but is expected to veer to the north just at the last minute. They better be right or we're gonna get steamrolled again.
