(reply) Lots of lightning and distant but audible thunder, and now it has started raining quite heavily and just had a much closer crack of thunder. Judging from the radar there's quite a bit in it. Not sure if it's the same thing that was pounding the south east coast for the last 4-5 days and it's relocated, or it is, in fact, an instant typhoon.
