There were some big totals associated with that cell. 340 ml in your old stomping ground.

That low to the south east does seem to be gathering itself together - though i don't think it's our cat 5 - the big ones seem to assert themselves a bit quicker.

It looks like we might eventually get something out of that low east of the Philippines.

Turned out to be a very intense storm cell, that's still lingering, even though it didn't quite make it this far up the east coast - nothing more than a few drops in XC. Light rain in TD city.

CWB is saying 10% chance of rain for taidong, but looking at that radar image, it would have to be more than that, surely.
