Formosahut forum - Late Meiyu 2018 https://formosahut.com/forum/ Living in Taiwan en Late Meiyu 2018 It's only in the last week that some scattered thunderstorms have started to form around Taiwan - May rainfall totals were way down all over the island. Talk of drought in Tainan. By mid-June, it's usually all done. That doesn't leave much time.

However, looks like a late burst coming is the next few days - will be interesting to see if it becomes a pent-up deluge.
