<title>Late Meiyu 2018</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#039;s only in the last week that some scattered thunderstorms have started to form around Taiwan - May rainfall totals were way down all over the island. Talk of drought in Tainan. By mid-June, it&#039;s usually all done. That doesn&#039;t leave much time.</p>
<p>However, looks like a late burst coming is the next few days - will be interesting to see if it becomes a pent-up deluge. </p>
