<title>Northern Japan Beach in Winter</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The picture pretty much says it all, and this was a really, really nice day! I took the second picture to capture the anti-erosion methods and materials used. You can&#039;t see it too well from the pictures, but these cement things, though flat and easy to walk on, have holes in them that are at least 3 feet deep, yet this looked like a very inviting place to walk. We got about 20 feet into them before I realized how dangerous it was. I mean, you really had to watch your step but it was such a pretty day that we kept looking up. Kind of scary actually. </p>
