<p>There&#039;s something similar in Australia, but haven&#039;t seen them in Taiwan.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I believe this must be a Gasteracantha cancriformis -- <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gasteracantha_cancriformis">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gasteracantha_cancriformis</a> . This one was not full grown though. Very small. I have seen larger ones. They would have been much easer to photograph, but apparently they only reach about 10mm.</p>
