<title>Erika</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This may be the first storm to hit Florida in ten years. The media and govt. are cashing in. It&#039;s silly. The FL governor has already declared a State of Emergency, even though this storm is 1,000 miles away, not a hurricane (typhoon) yet, and expected to diminish. It kind of makes me miss the Taiwan situation of getting hit so often they wait until busses are falling off cliffs before suggesting people exercise caution.</p>
<p>I&#039;m also still looking for high quality sites for storm watching for this area like those that exist for East Asia. Maybe Erika will help me find them. </p>
<p>We&#039;re almost directly south of the 2PM Tues. D circle.</p>
