<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wow! 6.3! That&#039;s big. I figure anything 6.5 or over is borderline catastrophic if you&#039;re near the epicenter. 6.3 is certainly enough to cause damage.</p>

<title>6.3 Earthquake off coast of Hualien</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Big earthquake this morning, but far enough off the coast not to cause any damage. </p>
<p>However, it&#039;s interesting that they&#039;ve just been three 5.5+ aftershocks, i assume, in the same region, in the last 40 minutes. That would seem like a lot. Are they aftershocks? Or something bigger brewing?</p>
<p>Meanwile, a decent front coming through Taipei on the sat image.</p>
