Extreme Events - 2026

TS Sinlaku has Guam directly in its sight. Let's hope, as often happens, this storm take a different path. The last typhoon that hit Guam, Mawar, left large parts of it without power and water for weeks.

EDIT: From AI - April typhoons on Guam are uncommon. The peak typhoon risk runs June–December (highest Aug–Nov); only a small fraction of Western North Pacific tropical cyclones affect Guam in April. Historically, typhoons or tropical storms near Guam in April occur only a few times per several decades (occasional April storms exist but are rare compared with the peak season).

Synthetics

This event probably won't get much attention in the big wide world of all the shit that is happening today, but it strikes me as an important milestone. So, does this mean the term synthetics will become a household word to refer to AI generated people? This is straight out of Dark Mirror.

Hollywood performers union condemns AI-generated 'actress' Tilly Norwood

LOS ANGELES, Sept 30 (Reuters) - The recent debut of an AI-generated "actress" dubbed Tilly Norwood, and its producer's boasts of interest from studio executives, sparked a backlash on Tuesday from the SAG-AFTRA actors union, condemning the replacement of human performers with "synthetics."

Vaccine data-war 2025

MSM: New figures from Cancer Australia, reveal staggering increases (in cancer) between 2000 and 2024.

Among 30 to 39-year-olds, rates of prostate cancer have climbed by 500 per cent, pancreatic cancer by 200 per cent, liver cancer by 150 per cent, uterine cancer by 138 per cent, and kidney cancer by 85 per cent.

The article failures to mention the elephant in the room: that timeframe corresponds exactly with when mRNA Covid vaccines burst onto the scene.
I don't know if there's a causal link there, Malone did warn about there being one, but it's a major coincidence at least - worthy of further investigation - as The Scientists like to say.
Though it won't get any in Aus - it will get the opposite. Shut down. Same way the excess death phenomenon was.

The fact that research is blocked on this topic, only makes me suspicious. Why quash it if there's nothing to hide?

US Debt

Dan has posted a lot of sensible commentary on this topic. Re-posting one of those as an intro:

Dan wrote:

No, it's not sustainable at all. It will all crash and burn at some point. This is what the politicians do not want us to think about. It will kill us, or cause massive war, poverty, and starvation, long before climate change.

My understanding is that the US can maintain this death spiral for quite a few years because the USD is the reserve currency; most international debt is held in USD, so regardless of how far the US goes into debt, countries must still buy the USD to service their debt, and the US Fed knows this. No other country could get away with this, not even close, but by the Fed (the ORG-GODS rather) continuing to devalue the USD, they're effectively devaluing the entire world economy. Actually, that's not accurate. They are shifting wealth from everyone and everything to the ORG-GODS. That's what the system does, and we're told that a little inflation is good, just a little. That's bullshit.

Inflation is how they take wealth from the poor and give it to the rich. With any positive GDP, there should be DEflation, and deflation helps everybody. It means we can buy more with what we have and work less. An increase in GDP produces a SURPLUS and so prices should come down. But the ORG-GODS don't want that. INflation assures that we are kept in financial slavery.

And when this does all crash and burn, they'll introduce a CBDC or something close. In the US it may be a corporate, banking digital currency. But it's coming. More on that below.

Those closest to the FED institutionally, meaning the ORG-GODS, are the ones who benefit from this. They're the ones who cash in on money printing. Hey, that's pun!

So the US is pumping USD into these countries(Japan, China) via interest on the debt by printing money. It's a vicious cycle. The superpowers can't afford to kill the hegemony of the USD because they're holding it and getting paid to do so, but at the same time the USD is dying.

(DD's brackets)

Driverless Airplanes (Boeing) 2025

US Army Blackhawk (H-60) helicopter is not Boeing-made, but same theme.

AP: The Federal Aviation Administration said the midair crash occurred before 9 p.m. EST when a regional jet that had departed from Wichita, Kansas, collided with a military helicopter on a training flight while on approach to an airport runway. It occurred in some of the most tightly controlled and monitored airspace in the world, just over three miles south of the White House and the Capitol.

Another very weird one to kick off the year. How does a military helicopter crash into a commercial flight coming into land at a major airport?

We already know the official report: Human error - in that they didn't pick up on the AI error - aka: falling asleep at the AI wheel, as you do. Actually, nobody's fault.

Cyber-war 2025 - Exploding cyber-truck - Year of the Drone

It exploded on New Year's Day, 2025, so it's a literal starts-with-a-bang year.

Dan, the honourable founder of Formosahut overlapped 24 into 25. Which is a normal thing to do, it's only an arbitrary cut-off date in a continuous world. Personally, i feel bloody relieved when we get away from days being called Christmas Eve/Day, Boxing Day, New's Eve/Day - back to normal Monday, Tuesday ...

Dan's first intriguing post on Exploding cyber-truck connection to drones is here.

This post is continued from Dan's last post.

Dan wrote: And now, poof, it's gone. It never happened. Not a peep in the media about it.

That's a golden rule of investigation: No evidence (presented by MSM), is evidence. Of a cover-up.

On the positive side, nobody believes a single fucking word that MyGov.Orgs/MSM say, anymore. The days when you could message it all back into the bottle are gone.

Given the Cyber-bomb welcome to 25, the backstory to it (anti-gravity propulsion is existent military tech), i'm seeing 25 as: The Year of the Drone

The ramifications, of a quite plausible mega-breakthrough in military/population control are ... mind-boggling ... but also a logical extension in the rise of the machine.

Re his ID being recovered, did you mean from his phone? The article says police found a 6-page manifesto on his phone. It's not clear from the article if that was found in the cyber-truck - it would be strange if it was - & his body was supposedly beyond recognition.

The article also says the 'bomb' was made up of: fireworks and other explosive material

So mainly fireworks, i guess. Otherwise you wouldn't be leading with fireworks.

There's some talk about DNA discrepancies, do you know anything about that?

Extreme Events - 2025 - LA Fires

This is like the me too of fire disasters. Hitting the town that ... never really delivered on the fire disaster movie. Which is odd coz they love the genre, & they live in an area prone to wildfire ...

Finally, it's like the movie comes to them.

On a globo-weather-level, it couldn't be further from the reality here, where the rain has been incessant for several years. It demonstrates that there are still cycles of dry & wet unfolding simultaneously. Observation indicates they are getting more extreme at either end of the spectrum.

At some point there will be the flip-arooney. Places that are now wet, will go dry-cycle ... & vice versa ... almost certainly to extreme degrees. I think/hope that point might be this year.

Full-metal-hat

Could telecommunication be a contributing factor in climate change? 5g being the one to tip it over the edge …

Professor Andrew Wood (in Nature, of all places): We believe the main biological effect of the electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones is a rise in temperature.
There are also concerns that there could be more subtle effects, such as links between long-term exposure and certain types of cancer, but while there is some evidence from epidemiological and animal studies, these remain controversial.

For “controversial” read howled down by Big (know which side-my-bread’s buttered) Science.

Prof Wood: As the frequency goes up, the depth of penetration into biological tissues goes down, so the skin and eyes, rather than the brain, become the main organs of health concern.

That’s kinda counterintuitive, but it was an in depth study. The implication is that the brain damage has already been done by the lower frequencies. Watch out for your skin & eyes.

The major hurdle is that the power levels involved in mobile and wireless telecommunications are incredibly low, which, at most, produce temperature rises in tissue of a few tenths of a degree. Picking up unambiguous biological changes is therefore very difficult.

Frog-in-boiling-water syndrome - which has proven to be a great metaphor in my lifetime for our slow-boiling predicament.

So 5g, despite it’s Covid-vaccine-like-rollout, is: potentially physically dangerous to biological matter, including humans

Now here’s the full-metal-hat extrapolation: telecommunications contribute to climate extremity

Wood says: (T)he main biological effect of electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones is a rise in temperature.

Does that rise in temperature feed into global warming?

I’ve seen extreme smog in Taiwan - same thing is going on in all the big manufacturing countries where the world’s chimney smoke comes out (China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia …). The world really is a small place in the grand scheme of thing (12,756 km wide) - it’s logical that filling up the atmosphere around it with toxic smoke will have adverse consequences.

Fact: Temps are trending up in the limited period where records have been kept (in many places less than 100 years - maximum temp records don't go much past 200 years). The cycles of flooding rains & bushfire drought are growing more extreme, more frequent, in that limited period. In the grand-scheme, however, global warming/cooling is known to happen - way beyond what we're seeing now.

So if there is such a thing as man-made global warming, which i think there likely is, could there be other factors at play fueling this heat-surge data? Concrete city heat-traps, for example, … &/or … electromagnetic radiation?

I don’t know. But it seems possible. What i do know is that the world is not going to apply the same Thought-control rigour to tamping down electromagnetic radiation as it is to fossil fuels. Or Covid draconianism, to keep us safe. Not in my lifetime. We’ve become hopelessly dependent upon the internet - I don't see us throwing our devices in the rubbish bin any time soon.

As Wood notes: Wireless technologies bring enormous benefits, and being over-cautious would potentially deny these benefits to needy communities.

Which amounts to a how-to roadmap for the world going down the gurgler.

Miramar - Lin Shu-ling

Recap: Miramar resort is an illegally built monstrosity on Shan Yuan beach. It was built through corrupt collusion between Miramar & the Taitung Council on Amis tribal land.

Protesters successfully exposed this illegality (through the courts) resulting in the opening of the resort being stopped. They didn't succeed in having it demolished.

The Taitung Council compensated the company (for their illegal actions), then re-purposed the resort as a 'convention centre'.

One of the lead protest groups opposing Miramar is Fan Fan Fan (Stop Stop Stop). The structure of the group is such that they don't have an official leader, but the person who most inspired the movement is Lin Shu-ling. Shu-ling's ancestral home is on Shan Yuan Beach. Her grandmother still lives there.

Shu-ling was the lead plaintiff in Taiwan's first ever citizen legal action against Miramar/Taitung Council. She has long called for the resort to be torn down.

As retribution for her involvement, the Taitung Government has now moved to demolish her house!

The demolition is scheduled to begin at 8am, tomorrow (Oct 21).

There is a vigil organized to defend Shu-ling's home which starts from today (Oct 20) at 5pm.

This is beyond-the-pale persecution by a corrupt organization of one of the most honourable people i've ever met. She is being persecuted because she is honourable, because she had the temerity to expose the Taitung Government's appalling behaviour. They hate her guts. They are using their power to crush her.

Only hope to stop her house being bulldozed is a strong show of support.

Fan Fan Fan has mobilized & will be there for the vigil. They won't go down without a fight.

Japan Nankai Trough Earthquake 2024

A 7.1 earthquake happened on Aug. 8 in the southern region of the Nankai Trough.

That's a sizeable earthquake, but apparently it's only a prelude of what is to come.

Japan issues first-ever alert over risk of Nankai Trough megaquake

From a seismological perspective, the probability of a large quake in the Nankai Trough has become several times higher, the agency said. Such quakes happen roughly once every 100 years, but the exact timing cannot be predicted. The most recent one took place on Dec. 21, 1946, which was measured between 8.1 and 8.4 on the moment magnitude scale.

According to the government’s damage assessments published in 2012, a tsunami caused by a Nankai Trough megaquake could result in up to 224,000 deaths, which can be reduced by roughly 80% with sufficient evacuation efforts immediately after the earthquake.

Another article:

Japan sees higher-than-usual risk of megaquake off Pacific Coast

In the worst-case scenario, a powerful temblor could shake a wide area of Japan -- from the Kanto region centering on Tokyo to the southwestern Kyushu region -- and high tsunami waves could engulf the coastal areas of Kanto to Okinawa, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

The Japanese government has predicted there is a 70 to 80 percent chance of a magnitude 8 to 9 quake occurring along the Nankai Trough within the next 30 years, with a 2012 estimate showing that the number of deaths could reach up to 323,000.

The Kanto Region includes Tokyo, Yokohama, and, well, us.

A 70-80 percent chance of an 8 to 9 quake in the next 30 years? That's an unsettling prediction.

When the quake hit yesterday, which we did not feel, I wasn't worried because it was well south of us. Now that I've learned more about the Nankai Trough and that it reaches to just south of us, I'm taking notice. A quake in the northern part of the trough could result in high water in our neighborhood, literally. Our house is at sea level.

Vaccine Data War, 2024

I'm beyond being shocked by the debased behaviour of our authorities, but this is worth recording - Reuters is reporting the Pentagon (in partnership with a private company) conducted a psy-op on Facebook in the Philippines blaming China for Covid whilst also undermining China's vaccine.

You might think 'So what?, the vaccines were a scam & Covid did come from a China lab', but meanwhile back on the home-front, the government & its tax-payer funded ORGS were conducting another psy-op telling us the vaccines were safe & effective & the origin was natural or 'inconclusive' ... in order to protect the CCP & preserve the world order.

Facebook, which had banned any mention of a lab-leak & all vaccine critical content, noticed the fake accounts, but obeyed orders to leave them up.

As usual, there were no consequences for those involved - not the government employees, FB, or the company. In fact the private company that ran the campaign, General Dynamics IT – was rewarded with another $493 million military contract in Feb this year.

Matthew Tricket death

NBC: A former British marine accused of spying for Hong Kong authorities in Britain has died in unexplained circumstances, police said Tuesday.

Matthew Trickett, 37, was found by police late Sunday afternoon at Grenfell Park in Maidenhead, a town west of London, after a report from a member of the public. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“An investigation is ongoing into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained,” Thames Valley police said.

That's potentially equivalent to the Novichok poisoning. Will the UK gov still make a big deal out of it if it's the Chinese behind it?

The British Foreign Office summoned Chinese Ambassador Zheng Zeguang after the spying charges were announced last week. In a statement, it said it had told Zheng that the “recent pattern of behavior directed by China against the U.K.,” including cyberattacks and the issuing of bounties on Hong Kong democracy activists living in Britain, was “not acceptable.”

Not acceptable? But appears it is acceptable. Seems normal.

Singapore Airlines Incident

The sudden plunge, without warning, then lurch upward of Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 from London to Singapore is curious.

It's described as turbulence, probably was, but there are some weird things about it. From the little i've read, 'the experts' say that kind of turbulence coming out of nowhere is very unlikely, but theoretically possible. (bit like the pangolin-bat love-child)

Makes me countenance a possible cyber-attack. Did the plane drop coz the controls had been hacked, or the AI auto-pilot system simply malfunctioned?

The passengers were mainly from Aus (56) & UK (47)

It happened over Myanmar's Irrawaddy Basin - which is near the equator, so it would be turbulent - but it's also a good place to stage an attack. Handy to China.
Likely as described - a freak turbulence event - but actual details from the airline have been limited. Still not sure if there was a storm - or it was so-called 'clear air' turbulence. Seems the seat-belt signs were not on.

Sounds like something out of disaster movie according to the witnesses - people flying up & hitting the roof then falling awkwardly back on the seats.

7.2 Earthquake Hualien

Hualien is not a place for the faint-hearted. Seems like there have been several 6+ers there in the last 6 years - so much for letting off tension.

At 7.2, it was a whole-island shake, at 8am. Another quake at 6+ struck shortly after.

Looking at the partially collapsed buildings, that would be about as scary as life could get whilst still being somehow survivable.

Seems the turtle head fell off Gwei Shan Dao - that's ... seismic.

Cyber-war 2024

We've identified a potential 9-11 level cyber-attack as a possibility in the immediate future, so this is a thread to keep an eye on any developments. The big-one is the internet, but a major bank hack would also fit the bill (to usher in CBDCs).

Epoch Times: “Based on our initial review, we believe that today’s outage was caused by the application and execution of an incorrect process used as we were expanding our network, not a cyber attack,” AT&T said in a statement Friday.
The company did not reveal the exact cause of the service disruption.

The FBI said it communicated with AT&T, saying in a statement that “should we learn of any malicious activity we will respond accordingly.”

The thing about cyber-war is the opaqueness that goes with it. We all know it's going on but it's cloaked in this 'top-security' secrecy that authorities see as a license to say whatever crap they deem to be most expedient.

Maybe it was just a stuff-up, but i don't have any confidence that we'd be told the truth if it wasn't.

War in Taiwan 2024

Let's say China does invade, overwhelms Taiwan's military, holds the island, or most of it.

Then what? Coalition forces bomb Taiwan - try to retake it?

Or do they bomb targets in China, as well?

Both parties would likely prefer to keep it contained - along the lines of the Ukraine War - so bombing China is a big step - invites retaliation. That's your WW3 scenario.

Though even if it's limited to Taiwan, the economic fallout would be colossal. Controlling chip production alone would be crippling.

That might be the war game CCP plays - prep-up with steel, essentials, launch a contained war on Taiwan (that doesn't damage the chip factories) - sink everyone else by shutting down the supply chain. See who blinks first.

AI in politics

Headlines today include Pakistan’s Imran Khan delivers AI-generated speech to campaign from prison.

Islamabad, Pakistan – Jailed former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has delivered a speech using an audio clip generated through artificial intelligence (AI) to address a virtual rally – the first event of its kind in the South Asian country.

Khan delivered a four-minute address on Sunday night, using the clip, which was laid over a video containing his AI-generated image as well as photos from previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) rallies and earlier speeches by him.

So this isn't groundbreaking in itself. There have been tons of clips showing how AI can be used to show people doing and saying all sorts of things they didn't actually do or say.

But what's interesting is that this serious use of AI in a political campaign is being reported almost as if it's already normal. And maybe it is normal! That's just it -- I don't know how normal it already is. Is this the first time a political campaign has used an AI-generated speech? And if not, if this has been done before and we haven't heard about it, well that's something.

So the question is, at what point will such stories stop being reported? At what point will the distinction between an AI-generated speech or image and a real speech or image be discounted, ignored?

It's a slippery slope.
