Cyclone Damien made landfall in Karratha, north coast of WA as a cat 3. Pretty remote area but reports of damage to houses.

The potential cyclone from previous post that Windy had tracking down the east coast of Aus is no longer showing up on models - did think it was unlikely. Still think there might be one cyclone this year that gets further south than usual into the big populated areas
