Here's a screenshot of Taidong's weather forecast according to CWB. It indicates thunder and lightning storms for the next seven days - night and day! I will bet my farm on that not happening! In fact, given the Meiyu has finished and there are no typhoons on the horizon, i will be very pleasantly surprised if we get anything but blazing sunshine for the next week.

Don't want to be a smart alec or anything, but...

Despite CWB's prediction of non-stop storms for 7 days, the reality was that it was hot and sunny every day and not a drop of rain.

Ironically, just when they finally predicted a dry night, it starts to rain - i assume it's a bit of drift-up from a collapsing TD to the south-west.
